Target Becomes a Top Ten Credit Card Company

target_dog.jpgThe one stop shop, Target, has recently been named the newest member of the top ten credit card provider. If you are a Target shopper, I am sure that you have been asked by the cashier if you would like to save 10% on your Target purchases by signing up for their Target credit card or Target/ Visa credit cards. And after seen the results, it seems that Target has nailed a bulls eye with this.
Ten percent may seem like a good deal, but, according to Advertising Age, Target has "charged up to 23.74% interest on balances from 16 million customers totaling $5.6 billion."

This is quite the cash crop for Target.
